Plant based / Vegan
Thanks to better access to information, people are becoming more conscious of the world around them and what eat, but more importantly where that food comes from. Choosing a diet solely on plant based ingredients might be a big choice for some and can be a little daunting.
The food industry is catching up though and access to plant based foods (at least in the UK) is a lot easier now, but if you're looking to make your own meals and struggling with where to start, or making them taste less bland, then I can offer some help to guide you in the right direction.
Vegan doesn't just mean eating fruit, vegetable and salad platters every day! Often there are only small changes you need to make to carry on eating meals you're used to.
On this experience you will make 4 dishes using different ingredients, all which are easily accessible and not specific vegan products or replacements. Each meal will be open to variations for you to modify for future meals.
You will make and cook each of the ingredients so it doesn't matter what you put it with. Most importantly you will see how we can push the flavour into your meals so that it doesn't have to feel like you're missing out on something.

A lot of my cooking focuses on understanding the individual elements of a dish so that you can piece together your own food your own way. I think this is most important when cooking plant based as you want to get the most out of each part or it for the full flavour.
This course is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and plant based. Please state in the comments when booking if you want to focus on a particular area.
